This super easy recipe is always a hit. My girlfriend prepares it for most get togethers and it is guaranteed that the majority of people (babies included) will go back for seconds! Finally, I got her to divulge her super simple recipe – tossed it together for BBQ with my parents and MmMm delish!
Ingredients
Real easy and subject to your interpretation / scaling
- 3 green onions chopped
- 1 bell pepper chopped
- 1 tomato diced
- 1 cup cooked ground beef
- 1 pack taco seasoning (I made up my own, some black pepper, garlic salt, salt, chili powder)
- 1 bunch of romaine lettuce
- 1 cup grated cheese
- 1/2 bag nacho chips crushed
- Enough Catalina to fully dress the salad
Preparation
Simple, chop, toss and serve. makes enough to more than feed 6 adults (with seconds). Enjoy!
This is an easy recipe to toss in added veggies and or seasoning to bring up the heat. Another exciting twist would be adding fresh avocado for a creamy punch of flavor.
